10 x 8 Sheds
A 10’x8’ shed is built to provide storage and functionality with some space to spare, both tidying your outdoor space and opening it up for different types of uses through the shed itself.
While not overbearing nor huge, these garden sheds offer a spacious interior that you can utilise both for lots of storage for furniture and tools - or as a workshop environment for DIY projects.
Our wide selection of 10x8 and 8x10 sheds includes wooden, plastic and metal sheds, with each different material providing different characteristics which suit different uses. For instance, a metal model will be best for a heavy-duty workshop environment due to its toughness.

Choosing the Right Type of Shed for You
Here are some of our most popular shed styles
All of our sheds are patio-friendly, perfect for placement on concrete, brick, or slabbed patio areas. As long as your patio is large enough for your chosen size of shed (we have some very large ones), you should be fine to commence with building.
Please bear in mind that if your patio is not completely level, an extra base may be required to give the shed a flat surface to stand on.
If you have wooden decking rather than a patio, check out this guide: Can I Put a Shed on Decking?
Need storage on a tighter budget? This range focuses on the essentials — practical space, sensible specs, and strong value. Even our lowest-priced wooden sheds still come with our 10-year guarantee, so you don’t have to compromise on peace of mind.
If you need to budget carefully, our selection of cheap sheds is where you want to look.
FAQs
Since 2020, we no longer have a physical showroom and all trade is conducted online. Our website shows previews of every size of building with precise measurements to make it easy for you to make an informed buying decision.
When you visit a product page, changing between sizes will immediately show you what the exact size looks like.
We don’t currently offer a shed installation service. Our garden sheds are supplied for self-assembly and include full fitting instructions.

Usually, no. Most UK properties are allowed sheds as 'permitted developments' with no planning permission required, provided they are not placed in a front garden or exceed height limits. If you live in a listed property, a conservation area, or are unsure about boundary rules, please read our quick guide to shed planning permission to double-check before ordering.
When we say a 'base', we mean a surface that is:
- Flat (check with a spirit level)
- Solid (bricks, slabs, concrete, or a base kit. NOT soil, grass or loose gravel)
- With drainage (it doesn't have to be raised, but rainwater has to be able to leave the area.)
So yes, all sheds require a base.
It is important that a shed stands in a location where it will be able to easily remain upright without undue stress on the structure, and where it won't be absorbing water. Our wooden sheds all come with pressure treated floor bearers which raise the floor slightly above the ground, so you can place yours straight onto a level patio or reinforced decking without issue.
If your designated shed location is currently soft, you could level this out and use our Ecobase product to save you the work of landscaping.
The size of your shed depends on how you plan to use it. Whether you need space for tools, a workshop, or even a garden office, we offer sheds in a range of sizes to fit your space. Use our shed size guide to find the perfect match for your garden.
10x8 and 8x10 Garden Sheds
The quintessential medium-sized shed, a 10x8 shed caters well for gardens with a comfortable amount of room, large but not excessive storage needs, or small DIY workshops. Since their size isn’t excessive, neither is the price, meaning you can get a 10x8 model that’s still affordable.
What Can a 10x8 Shed Be Used For?
Where 10-by-8 foot sheds exceed is their ability to perform multiple types of functions - sometimes all at once! They’re great for storing large equipment or large quantities of items, comfortably fitting in lots of bikes and a lawnmower. But they can just as easily be turned into a workshop for DIY projects - with both storage and workshop functions possible if you divide the space evenly.
Floor and Cladding
Make a move on your outdoor plans today with a choice of floor and cladding options. Our 8x10 sheds come across a range of tongue and groove and overlap cladding as well as plastic and even metal models that imitate wood grains.
8x10 Garden Sheds
Our workshops and 8x10 garden sheds feature either hinged wide-opening double doors or even sliding doors on some of our metal sheds. This range also features heavy-duty plastic sheds for sale.
A Suitable Base
We suggest that all garden buildings are built on a stable and level surface with suitable foundations. That's why many of our sheds come with flooring options, or simply pick up a shed base from our accessories range.
