If your sandpit is being used for unsupervised play, we recommend still placing it within a site line of your house. Place away from hazards and areas of foot traffic in sunlight (and remember to protect and hydrate children at play in hot weather).
Yes, our high-quality wooden sandpits are designed for year-round use (if necessary) and wood can be treated to protect against harsh weather. The use of a canopy or lid when not in use can help prevent usage life and you may consider emptying and storing your sandpit when not in use.
