When compared to wooden structures, plastic sheds clearly aren’t a traditional design amongst the typical British garden aesthetic. However, they are becoming increasingly popular amongst homeowners and boast numerous benefits:

If the building is shorter than 2.5m tall you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or to be put in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before ordering from us.

We do not offer an installation service on any of our buildings, our buildings are designed & manufactured to be easy and simple to assemble. Using the assembly instruction included and with a team of just 2 people and a bit of DIY knowledge you can expect to have your BillyOh building up within a day, or as little as 3-4 hours with some of our smaller buildings.

Our plastic sheds at Garden Buildings Direct come in pre-assembled parts which are incredibly easy to put together. Assembling a plastic shed is a task which requires no special tools or building experience. In fact, many modern plastic sheds can be simply snapped together.

Moreover, because the material itself is lightweight, plastic sheds also require less effort to install.
