Overview

The traditional design and long windows give this cabin a distinct aesthetic appeal and the envy of any next door neighbour.


This Log Cabin can be used for a multitude of uses from a stylish modern office through to a classic summerhouse. The mix of the log windows and full Glazed door ensure that there will be no shortage of light creating a light ambiance inside.

Features

28mm Interlocking Boards - Single T&G for stability and durability.

11mm T&G Floor - Providing pre-assembled T&G boarded floor sections supported by 1” x 2” Floor Joists.

11mm T&G Roof - Providing a T&G boarded roof supported by 2” x 5” Roof Purlins.

Styrene Glazed Doors/Windows - There are a total of 8 windows; 2 Windows on each side, which are bottom opening windows; 4 windows on the front, which have a fixed bottom section and bottom opening section; all are constructed with integral Georgian styled glazing bars. Glazing comes as a single sheet for ease of assembly.

Fully Glazed Style Double Door - These provide plenty of light with integral Georgian glazing bars as standard. Glazing comes as a single sheet for ease of assembly.

Traditional Styled Roof Line - Roofline similar to tradtional English houses.

Roofing Felt as Standard - The BillyOh Dorset Traditional Log Cabin comes as standard with all felt covering and fixings as standard at no extra cost.

Construction

The BillyOh Dorset Traditional Log Cabin is constructed primarily of 28mm Interlocking T&G boards, coupled with framing for extra strength and rigidity. Due to the time taken to assemble the floors, this cabin comes with 4 pre assembled floor section to get straight to the building itself. The doors and windows are crafted in the UK in our own factory, using modern manufacturing and Design techniques. The roof is constructed of 11mm T&G boarding with substantial purlins.

    • Easy Assembly and Maintenance

    Full Self-assembly instructions are supplied with your order along with all the required fixtures and fittings. Simply place pre-assembled floors together, add the surrounds and place the walls level by level to create your new building.

    We recommend you treat the building following construction with a high quality preservative for maximum durability.

    PLEASE NOTE: All dimensions stated are approximate and based on the outer external measurements of the Log Cabin.

    28mm T&G Timbers:

    This Log Cabin, uses 28mm thick tongue and groove timbers. These are made from European Grade softwood and profiled and cut to length in our UK manufacturing Facility.

    Interlocking Timbers:

    This Cabin using tongue and groove boards assembled board by board interlocking together. This method uses the weight of each board to hold the previous in place adding a rigid durable structure.

    Fully Glazed Double Doors:

    Beautiful Georgian barred glazed doors allow lots of natural light into to cabin and are manufactured in the UK in our own factory using modern manufacturing and design techniques.

    Windows:

    With a mix of long and standard sized windows the Pioneer Brunel log cabin is full of natural light creating a warm ambiance inside.

    Traditional Roof Line:

    The Dorset Log Cabin uses a traditional English styled roof line with the doors along the eaves side. This ensures the building looks traditionally English for any British country garden or contemporary styled garden alike.

    Interior:

    The spacious light interior provides ample space for a stylish office, summerhouse or even a child’s playroom. The eaves and ridge height give the feeling of an airy space allowing an adult to stand inside comfortably.

    Braced Floor:

    The Pioneer Brunel log cabin is supplied with interlocking tongue and groove floor which is preassembled into 4 sections and supported with strong floor bearers.

    Log Cabin Features

    Most of our Log Cabin Buildings Feature;

    All boards are pre-machined to length and they interlock together increasing strength and durability

    The timbers in log cabins are substantially thicker including 19mm, 28mm, 44mm and 70mm. This thickness increases the insulation properties of the building and comes in single or double Tongue & Groove depending on timber thickness.

    Log cabin boards are naturally finished, ensuring a blank canvas ready for varnishing, painting or treating in any colour desired.

    Treating the building is required to conform to the warranty and to maintain the building. Wood stains are available in 4 colours for each product; Cedar Red, Harvest Gold, Ever Green and Dark Brown.

    Log Cabins are supplied with either; Solid Sheet, T&G Pre-Assembled sections or Individual T&G board floors. T&G floors are more heavy duty and of premium quality.

    Log Cabins are supplied with either; Solid Sheet, T&G Pre-Assembled sections or Individual T&G board roofs. T&G roofs are more heavy duty and premium quality.

    Cabins are glazed using either; Styrene, Single Glazed Glass or Double Glazed Glass. Double glazing is the most premium.

    The BillyOh Playhouses, Pathfinders, Frontiers and Pioneers all come as standard with green mineral felt. Those that do not come as standard include this as an optional extra.

    Premium roofing shingles are available on a selection of the buildings. These are available in Green, Grey, Black and Red Tiles.

    Due to the individual boards construction, assembly time is more time consuming, why not add our assembly service if available in your area.

    All buildings come with screws, glazing and ironmongery required for assembly

    Each building comes with stage by stage instructions, with individual part identification and cutting lists.

    Buildings with an offset door and window can be reversed so that the door is on either the left or the right. Providing that the window side is the same length as the plain side the windows can be placed either side.

    BillyOh Playhouses, Pathfinder, Frontier and Pioneer ranges are both manufactured and designed in the UK. The remaining buildings have been designed in the UK.
