With the Lollipop Max, there are two more ways to increase the play space; a platform adds a slatted wooden floor onto the front of the building, expanding your raised area. This traditional playhouse has a classic style with a tall overhanging apex roof and Georgian windows, making it a great addition to any garden or kids play area. The apex roof offers ample headroom inside the building with space for children’s seating, projects or creative areas. The building is EN71 approved giving you peace of mind while your child plays. The main proportion of this building is made from strong 11mm pre-assembled panels. It comes with comprehensive assembly instructions allowing you to quickly and easily install the building and get to the important part, playing! The 11mm tongue and groove roof and floor give your building a robust feel, and the included roofing felt will help improve your buildings weather resistance for years to come.

Tongue and Groove

The roof overhangs on this BillyOh building not only allow for excellent runoff but a slightly covered veranda area for maximum weather protection. The durable tongue & groove floor and groove cladding used to create a stronger roof also give this wooden building a tight seal against water ingress. Green mineral roof felt is provided for added protection.

Assembly Kits

These are low cost, convenient solutions, for if you don't already have your own tools. This kit includes: Hard point saw, Safety goggles, Paint brush, Pocket level, Claw hammer, Rigger gloves. We don't offer an installation service, so just follow the assembly instructions provided with your order to construct your Lollipop Max onto a solid foundation.

Planning Permission

Playhouses  will fall under what's called 'permitted development' and won't require planning permission, so long as they:

• Aren't intended for permanent residential use
• Don't exceed a max eaves height of 2.5m
• Don't exceed a ridge height of 4m (dual-pitched roof like an apex or -reverse apex) or 3m (any other type of roof, like a pent)
• Don't take up more than 50% of your garden area
• Aren't build past the front wall of your house

That's why our BillyOh playhouses are built with these height measurements in mind. Planning permission rules may vary, though, so you can always check your local council rules.

Treatment and Quality

As well as your favourite colours, you can also stain and protect your wood after installation. Your Lollipop Max will come with the timber treated with a golden brown spray treatment to give it delivery coverage for dependable quality. Then, use non-toxic treatment (especially on the inside of your playhouse) for quality weather protection.
