| > What base do I need for my building? | |
| > A good level
base is required to ensure that the building remains solid. This can be
constructed from paving slabs, concrete or wooden bearers. The base needs
to be at least as large as the building itself. |
|
| > Do I need to treat the wooden buildings? | |
> All wooden
buildings except the Greenacre log cabins are pre treated with a factory
base coat for protection during transit and storage. |
|
| > What tools will I need? | |
| > To erect the
buildings you require: Hammer Drill Stanley knife Crosshead screwdriver The following may also be useful: Tape measure Spirit level Hand saw Click here to view our building assembly instructions Back to the top |
|
| > How are the buildings delivered? | |
| > The timber
buildings are delivered as preassembled sections (Log Cabins use a slightly
different Interlocking Cladding System). These must be fixed together
at the site. All buildings are flat packed, easy to assemble and are supplied
with roofing felt and hardware (including door and window furniture where
applicable). Full comprehensive assembly instructions and fixings are
provided with each building. |
|
| > Will I need to erect the building myself? | |
| > Yes, this may
seem daunting, but it is incredibly easy. All buildings require two people
to erect, and depending on the building size, will take approximatley two
hours to erect. Two people are usually needed to erect the shed. Back to the top |

|
| > Can I select which side the doors are located on a garden building? | |
| > Unfortunately
not, the only building that we can alter the location of the door is the
Groundsman Apex (door can be located at either end, not the longer sides).
All our other garden buildings come as standard with the door located as
shown in the product image. Back to the top |
|
| > Will I require planning permission for my garden building | |
| > Generally no.
Under normal circumstances planning permission is not required, but it is
recommended you consult your local Planning Officer prior to purchase. Back to the top |
