The Red-Eyed Tree Frog

The Red-eyed Tree Frog is scientifically known as Agalychnis callidryas.  The frog is native to the rainforest in Central America and is also identified as Litoria chloris. The species Litoria chloris is native to Australia. Regardless of the Red-eyed Tree Frog’s scientific name and its native origin the frog’s name is clearly a match for the striking red bold eyes and effervescent green body it possesses.
