Kybotech Children In Need 2010

The massive beating heart of Garden Buildings Direct thumped into action today to help raise money for the worthy cause championed by CHILDREN IN NEED.

A dress down Friday was used to raise cash for the appeal initially and every employee of Garden Buildings Direct, including the Directors, put their hand in their pockets to pay the fee to loosen their ties.

Next Jonathan, our graphic designer, baked some amazing Pudsey Bear cup cakes and made sure that everyone in the office bought one and dropped more cash in to the Children In Need fund raising jar.

Then, out of the blue, and I’m not sure if he thought that anyone would go for it, Tom our website developer exclaimed, ‘You can shove a cupcake into my face if everyone chips in and donates an extra £15 for Children in Need’. This developed in to a somewhat bizarre event out in one of our warehouses involving; nakedness, large amounts of cream and plenty of cake. The photos and footage of the fund raising stunt can be seen below:

Tom would like to thank everyone who participated in raising money in the act of humiliating him in the freezing November air and for raising the extra money for the well deserving charity.

Thanks to Garden Buildings Direct’s selfless giving the company raised a total of £264.64 for Children In Need and we all wish the charity well and hope that this year’s appeal breaks all previous fund raising records.
